Fiona was firstborn of two powerful, prominent mages. From a young age, she was expected to be one of the same, and if not, to excel so strongly in another field that it would hardly matter. Her mother talked constantly about how important she was going to be when she grew older, her father taught her everything one needed to know the climb the ladder of power within the class. They dreamed of her being famous and remembered, and while Fiona didn't create the dreams for herself, she was content to dream them as her parents wished.

She, of course, succeeded in her testing, and aced Everthorne with only the skill one prepared for it can do, and, afterward, began to rise in rank and respect among the other mages. At the same time, she grew very close to her younger brother William, and tried to prepare him for Everthorne the way her parents had prepared her. When he passed the testing as well, she and her parents were thrilled ... but William simply didn't have the stamina, and he was expelled and stripped of his power.

While he went on to excel at horseback riding and become a local idol, the Ivenneries never completely overcame the disgrace of William's expulsion. Fiona attempted to protect her brother from hearing the stories being told about him, while meanwhile attempting to shield her family from the claims that the Ivenneries simply weren't suited for Everthorne.

Fiona's parents decided that something must be done to prove that the Ivenneries where the very soul of Everthorne, and as such, they pushed Fiona towards the goal of becoming its headmistress.

It was a hard uphill climb, but at the age of thirty-one, Fiona succeeded.

The students call her Madam Ivy, though her real name is well known. She has been headmistress for five years.

Fiona is serious, businesslike, and brisk. She has low tolerance for nonsense and no tolerance for rebellion. If you break the rules at her school, you do not get away with it.

Despite her hard persona, Fiona does care about her students, and she wants them to succeed at Everthorne, especially seeing the disgrace her brother was never able to shake. She'll try to help them through their academic and personal problems if they come to her, or she notices something is up, but never compromising her professionalism.

Fiona has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She's very beautiful.
